Birmingham City University (BCU) was established in March 1992, on the basis of uniform smaller academies in Birmingham to make major educational force current school. Birmingham City University is ranked highest among the new universities with over 23,000 students, including 500 international exchange students coming from 80 countries.

BCU consists of 3 main base with lots of functional buildings around Birmingham:

1. Establishments City Centre

Located in Birmingham's city center, City Centre comprises two main buildings

• Millennium Point - the headquarters of the Faculty of Technology, Engineering and Environment (TEE) and the Faculty of Dramatic Arts

• Parkside Building - the headquarters of the Academy of Art and Design Birmingham (BIAD) and the Department of Communications

2. Basis City North

• A large facilities, bustling city center lies 3 miles north, which is the headquarters of the English School, Birmingham City Business School, as well as the Faculty of Education, Law and Social Sciences.

3. Basis City South

• City South is located in Edgbaston, south of downtown, is the headquarters of the Faculty of Medicine, with facilities designed modern infinity as a hospital.
